First Meal!

The first official meal in our new house, hopefully our next won't taste like Paint.

We don't need no stink'in scaffolding, just good insurance

3.5 days, 90 gallons of paint and primer, a frozen water hose, 4 trips to Sherwin Williams, next time we will have a BYOPB party. We have at least now been in every sq foot of our house twice.

Custom Garage Door - One of a Kind

Paint Samples?

Don't be jealous of our custom garage door, you too can have one. All it takes is a couple of nails and some OSB Board. No need to worry about carbon monoxide, it lets in pleanty of fresh air.

Now were making progress

I know the insulation pictures were very exciting, but if you like those then you will love the pictures of the sheetrock. The sheetrock was completed a week ago and then we rushed in to paint. Just a tip: when estimating how much paint and primer you will need for your house don't forget to count all the rooms, the ceilings, and the garage. Oh, well my mistake. Those pics are coming soon (since "soon" has been pointed out to be a relative term), I mean by next week. Enjoy.
Entry way

Staircase from the bonus room. There is a shelf at the end of the staircase and it will be posted no climbing, at least when a certain friend comes over (you know who you are Tim. Ha Ha).

Great room, dining room, and kitchen.

Thanks to everyone who has been following our progress. I hope we are keeping you entertained and now posting at an acceptable rate. Thank for all your support.

By Popular Demand...Another post in the same month!!!

Well another blog and it only took two weeks. All you blogstalkers are probably feeling spoiled.
Here is a look at the insulation. They wrapped the walls with plastic then blow in the insulation just like they do to the ceilings. Pretty neat technique and it looks like it fills in around pipes and things better.

Another shot of the bonus room

This is the great room after insulation

Here is a shot of the master bedroom going into the master bath.

They rolled in the insulation on all sound proofing interior walls. They only blow in the insulation on the exteriors walls.

That's all for now, keep reading, we have Sheetrock and painting pictures coming soon.
